To the south of the "Sierra de Irta", lying on the Costa del Azahar, is Torreblanca, the "town of the white tower", a name traditionally thought to derive from one of its ancient watchtowers, La Torre de Doña Blanca.
Torreblanca's extensive coastal marshes, its mild Mediterranean climate and the warm, open character of its local population are attractions which have gained the affections of many visitors.
A stroll along the seashore, a calm swim off the Torrenostra Beach at the crack of drawn, or a night out in a fashionable night spot... these and many other things make Torreblanca an ideal destination for visitors of all ages. |
